Sansa Airlines is a regional airline based in San Jose, Costa Rica. It was founded in 1946 and it operates scheduled flights to destinations within Costa Rica, as well as to Panama, Nicaragua, and Honduras. The airline also offers charter services.
Sansa Airlines is known for its on-time performance and its commitment to safety, and has a reputation for providing friendly and reliable service to its customers. It’s the oldest airline of Costa Rica . Sansa has several codeshare agreements with other airlines, including Nature Air and Avianca, which allows for more convenient travel options for passengers.
I have frequently taken Sansa to places such as Quepos and Tamarindo as I can go and come back the same day, if need be and just makes for an easier way to get around. Also since the towns outside of San Jose, tend to be on the smaller side, the need for a car to get around is almost non existent.
Therefore, I thought I would write a business-like post about the airline since, if the number of questions I have been asked about it is any indication, there doesn’t seem to be a lot of information out there about them Sansa Airlines was created in 1980 and is arguably the most important domestic airline in Costa Rica.
Sansa airlines has flights daily to exciting Costa Rica destinations such as Quepos, Tamarindo, Nosara etc. using Cessna Grand Caravan’s. The Sansa fleet is air-conditioned and has leather seats for your increased comfort.
