Itinerary

Day 1: ARRIVE - On arrival you will be met and transferred from the International airport to your first hotel, the Best Western Irazu located just 5 minutes away from San Jose downtown. Depending on your flight's arrival time, you may have a chance to look around San Jose.

Day 2: Tortuguero - On the second day you will visit one of the most exciting areas in Costa Rica, the Tortuguero National Park. This is the most important area in the Western Caribbean for the nesting grounds of the green sea turtle (Chelonia Midas), which can be seen from July to October. This region abounds with rich flora and fauna. Its several waterways allow all kinds of life to grow and develope in a Primary and Secondary Tropical Rain Forest. Orchids, birds, monkeys, crocodiles, sloths, toucans and many other species, can be seen all over the area. A great way to spend time in the Costa Rican forest!. Return to Best Western Irazu for second night.

Day 3: Arenal - Early in the morning of this third day your Toyota Yaris Plus will be delivered to the Best Western Irazu for the beautiful three hour drive to Arenal Volcano. This night you stay at the Arenal Springs in a Bungalow.

Day 4: Arenal - Spend the day exploring the Arenal Area. Try the Tabacon Hot Springs, take the hike to the La Fortuna Waterfall or just explore this beautiful area. Second night at Arenal Springs.

Day 5 - 7: Manuel Antonio Beach - Drive down the Pacific Coast to Quepos, next to the world famous Manuel Antonio National Park. Spend three nights at Hotel La Sirena.

Day 8: San Jose - Drive back to San Jose and drop-off your car at the Best Western Irazu where you will spend your last night.

Day 9: DEPARTURE - Take a complementary shuttle from the Best Western Irazu to the airport.
