Self Drive Lake Arenal Volcano and Monteverde Rainforest

Self Drive Tour of the Arenal Volcano and Monteverde 5 days / 4 nights

Arenal Volcano Costa Rica

A walk through the Monteverde cloud forest reveals a lush green garden of mosses, ferns, flowers and epiphytes growing thickly on every tree. Clouds drift in and settle among the slopes, giving the continuous moisture required for such exuberant plant growth. Arenal Volcano overlooks Lake Arenal and is part of Arenal Volcano National Park. The country's most active volcano, the volcano is surrounded by clouds near the tip, and it is touted as good luck to see the whole volcano without clouds.
