This tour combines two natural highlights of Costa Rica: Arenal -a steaming, lava-producing volcano, and Monteverde, a beautiful cool mountain cloud forest-each an outstanding destination! Other tour features include lunch with local families, a visit to a butterfly and hummingbird garden, a hike to a magnificent waterfall and a canopy bridge and trail walking tour through a lush rainforest.

Costa Rica Volcano and Rainforest Package Details

Day 1

Arrive in San Jose. Pick up vehicle at airport office. Drive to hotel Peace Lodge. Overnight at Peace Lodge

Day 2

Entrance to Nature Park. You can take a private tour of Waterfall Gardens (not included) or just walk the park. Overnight at Peace Lodge.

Day 3

Early morning breakfast. Drive to Arenal Volcano area. Overnight Montana De Fuego.

Day 4

In the afternoon you can go on a canopy tour, go mountain biking or go to the hot springs. (not included). Overnight at Montana de Fuego.

Day 5

Drive to Monteverde. Overnight at Monteverde Lodge

Day 6

Enjoy a walk through the Cloud Forest or sign up for a Eco-Tour (not included). Overnight at Monteverde Lodge

Day 7

Drive back to San Jose. Drop off your car at the airport office location and fly out.
