Advanced Tamarindo Surf Course

These Tamarindo Costa Rica surf tours Do Not Include Surf Instruction. All guests are assumed to have extensive surfing experience and are comfortable surfing advanced surf breaks. Some spots are reef-bottom surf breaks, some spots are powerful deep-water surf breaks offshore.

Normal surf conditions range from shoulder to head-high and can reach overhead to double-overhead on bigger swell days. This is not the Surf School Program. Surf tours are a combination of local tours (AM and PM tours) or full-day tours. Tours are offered via Tamarindo Surf Camp 4x4 vehicles or Tamarindo Surf Camp boats. All Costa Rica surf tours are led by experienced Tamarindo Surf Camp surf guides.

Depending on the current swell direction, tides, and wind patterns, guests will surf Playa Grande, Avellanes, Playa Negra, Marbella, Ostional, Nosara, Witch's Rock, Ollie's Point and more. Guests will surf numerous surf breaks only accessible by boat. Guests have access to five local surf breaks in front of Tamarindo Surf Camp or within 5 minute walk from Tamarindo Surf Camp.

Unlimited use of all Tamarindo Surf Camp surfboards for the duration of your course. Tamarindo Surf Camp-led non surfing activities included in this program. Other non Tamarindo Surf Camp-led non surfing activities are also included with discount prices for all Tamarindo Surf Camp guests. Round-trip airport transportation included from the Tamarindo Airport.

This program has a suggested Saturday-to-Saturday program schedule. However, guests can start this program on any day of the week. Guests can enroll for more or less than 7 days.
