Costa Rica and Nicaragua Surf Charters

Surf the best waves in both Costa Rica and Nicaragua onboard the Aquadesiac!

Most of the breaks that you can surf in the Northern Pacific Coast of Costa Rica and Southern Pacific Coast of Nicaragua are non-accessible by road. Some are accessible only by very long drives on harsh dirt roads followed by hiking through estuaries. Others are surf breaks are non-accessible due to private property fronting the surf. Because of few Nicaraguan surfers and civil unrest in the past, the breaks there have little if any surfer presence.

Board Aquadesiac at Playa Hermosa, Guanacaste, Costa Rica. Motor to Witch's Rock or Ollie's Point for evening surf, if time allows. Enjoy a delicious dinner before dreaming of next day's surf as we motor to San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua.

Clear customs at San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua and enjoy days of surf in Nicaragua with 6 major breaks to choose from: Manzanillo, Colorado, Panga Drops, Bus Stops, Emergencies and Cobra! According to your tour motor overnight back to Costa Rica, anchoring at Ollie's Point or Witch's Rock. Surf Ollie's Point and/or Witch's Rock. (With a little luck from the "surf gods" we may also be able to surf some secret spots, Isla Colorado and/or the Labyrinth.) And finally disembark Aquadesiac at Playa Hermosa, Guanacaste on your last day of this adventure.

4 days/3 nights (4 days of surfing)
5 days/4 nights (5 days of surfing)
6 days/5 nights (6 days of surfing)
7 days/6 nights (7 days of surfing)

Surf Charter Includes:

• All meals onboard
• Snacks
• Non-alcoholic beverages
• Use of onboard equipment including fishing gear and basic snorkeling gear
• Group Transportation To/From Liberia Airport (within 24 hours of arrival/departure date) for charters of 4 days or more

($40 each way for add transfers), No credit given for unused transfers.

Charter Excludes: (extra costs apply)

• National park stops for Witch's/Ollie's: $15 pp per day
• Customs facilitation fees for Sat. or Sunday arrival or departure (Nicaragua charters only): $50 pp for each weekend day
• 10% service fee
• Alcoholic beverages (Can be purchased onboard at $2 ea. Beer, wine and mixed drinks available with advance notice. Passengers may bring their own wine, but NOT beer or hard liquor.)
• Onboard Digital Still photography with Cannon 20D (Advance notice required)

Additional Notes

• All charters Minimum of 4 passengers to guarantee departure, but we can join singles and small groups to meet minimum.
• Maximum of 6 passengers will have in-cabin accommodations (each of the 3 cabins sleep two passengers), but we can accommodate up to 8 passengers on overnight charters if weather will permit the 1 or 2 additional passengers to sleep on our upper deck's wide, padded benches which double as beds. (Our rainy season's usually runs from May through early November.)
• Exclusive use of vessel available with equivalent rate of 6 passengers paid in full, otherwise operator will accept up to 6 passengers on shared basis.
• Nicaragua charters require 4 day minimums, due to distance covered.

Things you need to have prior to your surf trip!

List of names, dates of birth, passport #s, expirations dates and country of origin i.e. USA, Canada, of all trip participants. Any allergies or medical information we should be aware of. Please have your passport and 5 copies readily available. (We find it helpful to pick a group leader to be responsible for these items)We suggest you bring multiple boards for a variety of waves (think fun board to mini gun)!
