Lost Surf Adventures!
Come get lost with us...
Eight good reasons to come on a Lost Adventure:
1. Sick waves. We have a world class
barreling beachbreak out front, a long, reeling left point nearby and a few
other fun breaks...
2. The house. You will stay in a
millionaires mansion right on the water. A great place to kick back with friends
or maintain the romance with your girlfriend while still racking up serious tube
time.
3. The location. Although you'll be
staying in luxury, you'll still be off the beaten track. Enjoy the real,
beautiful Nicaragua that hasn't been spoiled by developers.
4. Great food. If you want fresh fish,
you'll get it. Delicious Western and Nicaraguan food available. We should be
able to spoil you with fresh lobster and shrimp too!
5. Lack of crowds. This is not San Juan
Del Sur. Enjoy empty waves with just your buddies.
6. Our prices. Check out the prices of
other surf packages in Nicaragua and notice we cost substantially less. And we
offer more.
7. Other things to do. We can organize
fishing trips, horse riding, nights out at the disco or you can just rest your
surf weary bones in a hammock above the sea and watch the sun go down.
8. Our service. It's our top priority
that you enjoy your stay and have a true Nicaraguan surf adventure.
Accommodation
The house you will stay in is a three floor
Mediterranean style tower built right over the sea. It enjoys a fresh sea breeze
and almost every window has a beautiful view of the water.
It is surrounded by a lush garden that sprawls down onto the beach where the
waves are just a short walk away. There is a rancho right next to the beach and
a garden shower to wash off after surfing.
The ground floor has a kitchen, a large living room, toilet, and a porch area
out front right above the sea that has numerous hammocks. Bring some CDs and
kick back.
The second floor has a living room with cable TV and a DVD player, the main
bedroom, another with a double bed and one more with two single beds.
All beds
have mosquito nets. There is a large bathroom and shower with hot water. There
is also a balcony on this floor.
The third floor has a living room which incorporates a large bunk bed. From here
the views are spectacular, particularly from the balcony. This floor also has a
bathroom with hot water.
Waves

Mainbreak - The real draw
card for the region is the main beachbreak. The best sandbank is an unhurried 10
minute walk up the beach from the house. The break is very consistent and
basically just goes hollow from takeoff.
On small to medium swells it bears a
very close resemblance to Hossegor in France in summer. On large southern hemi
swells that arrive with power is starts to get thicker and stronger, like a more
forgiving Puerto Escondido.
At this point you have the options of charging hard
or riding some big long walls at the Point, a 10 minute boat ride away.
The Point -
The Point has an inside and outside wave which is
actually a reef situated off an island, accessed in about 10 minutes by boat.
On
a good swell it provides long lefts of around 50-80 meters. The wave peels
uniformly with a steep smackable wall, a nice change from the shorter intensity
of the Mainbreak.
The inside breaks on a different tide than the outside so as
long as there's swell, there's waves. It gets particularly good and hollow when
the swell is really macking and can hold serious size.
Playgrounds - Its a 10 minute drive away and is a fun hotdog wave.
The beach has rocks on either side and the sand usually builds up to form a peak
on the right, the left and in the middle. If you are just downright sick of
getting barreled, it's a fun alternative.
The Entrance - Situated at the base of a volcano, about 20 minutes
away by boat, this volcanic sand beachbreak is a good backup if the swell is too
small at the other breaks. When the tide is right and the sand builds up around
the rivermouth it can have good form.
