Converted from a Tropical Victorian mansion, the 35-room hotel maintains the warmth and comfort of a private home. Hallways lined with period photographs and original art meander through the building and present lush tropical flower arrangements and luxuriant plants at every turn. Italian tile fountains grace intimate atriums, ensuring that one is never far from the soothing melody of falling water.

The gardens at Grano de Oro are both inside and out. A rooftop terrace offers relaxing Jacuzzis and a spot for secluded sunbathing and stargazing. Service is paramount and the perpetually smiling staff of the Grano de Oro welcomes guests home time and time again.

The Grano de Oro Hotel has a two room Family Suite, an elegant Garden Suite with a jacuzzi bathtub and private garden, and the romantic Vista de Oro Suite with its panoramic view of San Jose and the surrounding mountains, all to be enjoyed from a private in-suite jacuzzi hot tub.

Each room and suite boasts an exquisite bath, beautifully crafted wooden furniture, comfortable rattan armchairs and quality beds for restful nights. For the comfort of our guests all rooms are designated as nonsmoking, with smoking permitted in the restaurant, gardens and other common areas.
