Bosque Del Cabo Hotel is located at
the very tip of Cabo Matapalo, on the Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica. Bosque del
Cabo features a 750 acre private reserve, spacious bungalows perched atop the
bluffs of Cabo Matapalo, as well as garden accommodation options and private
rental houses. .
The Osa Peninsula is one of the most biologically diverse places on Earth..
Boasting over 750 species of trees, 350 species of birds, 117 species of
reptiles, and almost 10 000 species of insects, the peninsula is also home to
the largest remaining mass of Pacific rainforest from Mexico to South America.
Corcovado National Park is known as the crown jewel of the Costa Rican parks
system. You can spend your days hiking and exploring the natural beauty of Bosque del Cabo and the surrounding area, whiz through the air on
our zipline into the tree platform, or just relax by the pool or on the deck, sip a tropical drink. Our private, solar-powered, open-air restaurant serves delicious meals in a friendly atmosphere.
Bosque del Cabo has 10 bungalows set among lush gardens,
and perched on the bluff with gorgeous ocean views, modern bathrooms with
outdoor garden showers, and porches furnished with hammocks and easy chairs.
We also have accommodation options in our botanical gardens. We have two garden
cabinas, open air set facing lush rainforest, both with private outdoor showers
and hammocks. There are no ocean
views with these accommodations- the buildings are surrounded by rainforest and
face the gardens. There is a nice creek running nearby and a lake that we
created that attracts great wildlife sightings. These accommodations have a
10-12 minute walk (partly in the forest) to the main lodge/restaurant area. There are also
three rental houses located in the rainforest and over-looking the
ocean:
CASA BLANCA: Casa Blanca is a
well-appointed two bedroom, two bathroom, 2000 square foot home
originally built for the owner’s mother. Decorated in classic
tropical style, Casa Blanca has a fully equipped kitchen, large
living room area and a wrap-around porch.
Casa Blanca
also has an amazing view of the Pacific Ocean, step-down
sundeck, and two large bedroom suites. The master bedroom has a
king-sized bed, and the second bedroom has two queen-sized beds;
each bedroom has its own full bathroom.
The house also
has hydroelectric power, hot water, and a daily cleaning
service. Casa Blanca is located 200 meters from the restaurant
and the other bungalows, affording it a greater sense of
privacy. The kitchen is fully equipped with all that is needed
to whip up your own gourmet delights, or if you prefer, you can
dine at our open-air restaurant, with advance notice. |
 |
CASA TECA: Casa Teca has two bedrooms, and one
bathroom, and is situated in our Tropical Garden. There is a
large open kitchen/living area in the center of the house; the
kitchen is fully equipped with stove, fridge, pots and pans. The
house has hot water, solar electricity, and a daily cleaning
service.
Plants have been planted to attract butterflies
and birds surrounding the house. Casa Teca has a maximum
capacity of 4 people and meals are not included in the price. As
with our other rental houses, guests are welcome to eat at our
restaurant. |
|
CASA MIRAMAR:
Casa Miramar is actually three small
buildings linked together by heliconia-lined pathways and
beautiful planters, comprising a total of 1600 square feet. Casa
Miramar has three bedrooms (two with one queen sized bed and one
twin daybed, and one with two double beds), two full bathrooms,
two outdoor garden showers, a large living room and kitchen
area, an observation deck, and our newest addition, a private
pool overlooking the ocean!
The house has unbelievable
panoramic ocean and sunset views, and an interesting and unique
artistic flare. Casa Miramar is solar powered, and has a daily
cleaning service; cooking services are available upon request.
Miramar is 600 meters from the restaurant area, and provides
total privacy.
Bosque del Cabo has gorgeous trails all throughout the property, a large
wildlife pond, botanical gardens, a bird watching facility, a rainforest “studio
spa”, an open rancho restaurant and bar and a refreshing pool. All of our
accommodations offer hot water, daily cleaning service, and solar/hydroelectric
power. You can also enjoy kayaking, waterfall rappelling, deep-sea fishing, sailboat trips, hiking, horseback riding, and our tree platform!
