DISTRICT AND VOLCANO TOUR Chile Tour Itinerary:
DAY 02: SANTIAGO,VIÑA DEL MAR &VALPARAISO Departure from your hotel for a visit of Viña del Mar, South America’s sophisticated social summer resort located 85 miles west of Santiago and also knows as the “Garden City” for its beautiful gardens, avenues filled with flowering treed and palms. DAY 03: SANTIAGO - Departure from your hotel for a Santiago city sightseeing tour: Civic Center, La Moneda Presidential Palace, seat of the Presidency of the Republic, Plaza de Armas, Cathedral,pedestrian street of Huerfanos and Ahumada. Also visiting the Union Club, National Library, Santa Lucia Hill, (site of the foundation of Santiago on February 12, 1544). Santiago’s night and artistic life center lined up with galleries, open air cafes and restaurants. Driving towards the residential districts of Vitacura, Las Condes and Providencia, boasting modern high rise buildings and exclusive shopping malls. Rest of the day at leisure. DAY 04: SANTIAGO – PUERTO MONTT - Transfer from Hotel to the airport for flight to Puerto Montt. Arrival and transfer to your Hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. DAY 05: PUERTO MONTT – FRUTILLAR - Early morning drive along Costanera Avenue with a magnificent view on the Reloncavi Bay, Main Square facing the monument to the German Settlers. Continuing on to the Cathedral Church of the beginning of the century, Angelmo fishing village, regional Market, bordering Tenglo channel towards Chinquihue, Pelluco towards the city of Puerto Varas, also knows as the “City of roses”, Mount Calvario, Phillippi Park residential districts and the Municipal market. Finally continuing to Frutillar, settled by German colonists in 1856, possibly the most attractive town on the lake. Frutillar is also as well known for the classic Music Festival held every year in late February. Lunch included. ![]() DAY 06: PUERTO MONTT – CHILOE ISLAND - Departure via Pargua to board ferry and cross the Chacao channel towards the Island of Chiloe through a beautiful scenery of channels and fjords up to arrival at the port of Chacao, proceeding by bus to the city of Ancud founded in 1765. Typical of the island are the wooden houses built on stilts over the water. Visit of the Spanish Fort of San Antonio, built in the XVII century, Costanera Avenue and the Regional Museum and the colorful market. Lunch included. DAY 07: PUERTO MONTT – PETROHUE FALLS - Departure for a full day tour to Petrohue. Bordering lake Llanquihue past oxen and tractor plowed fields, weather beaten clapboard barns and churches, by Ensenada up to arrival at Petrohue River falls inside the Vicente Perez Rosales Park. Proceeding up to Lake Todos los Santos, also known as Lake Emerald due you can see two snowcapped volcanoes, the perfect cone of the Osorno and the chattered cone of the Calbuco. Lunch included. DAY 08: PUERTO MONTT – PUYEHUE - Today we will driving along the picturesque Chilean countryside towards Lake Puyehue, surrounded by virgin forests and green hillsides, offering excellent beaches also famous are its thermal waters. Lunch included. DAY 09: PUERTO MONTT – SANTIAGO - Transfer from your hotel to the airport for your flight to Santiago de Chile. Arrival in Santiago and transfer to your hotel. DAY 10: SANTIAGO - At leisure for personal activities or optional excursions. DAY
11: SANTIAGO -
Afternoon transfer to the International Airport for your flight home.
