A detailed tour itinerary of Buenos Aires, Calafate, and a cruise of Argentina:

DAY 01-  BUENOS AIRES - Arrival at Ezeiza International airport. Meet & Greet with the local guide and Transfer to the Hotel. Half day sightseeing tour of Buenos Aires, visiting the historic Plaza de Mayo Square, surrounded by the Government House, the Cabildo (old City Hall), and the Cathedral. Avenida De Mayo to reach the Congress Palace, seat of the Legislative Branch.

Continue to 9 de Julio Avenue, the widest in the world and where in the Plaza de la Republica, the Obelisk, the Colon Theater. La Boca with its famous street, "Caminito", the old docks of Puerto Madero neighborhood. Palermo neighborhood with its elegant residences framed by wide green areas and Recoleta and its surprising cemetery where Evita is buried. Overnight at selected Hotel.

DAY 02 - BUENOS AIRES - Buffet breakfast at the Hotel
Day at Leisure to discover this incredible metropolitan city. In the evening, we will enjoy a typical Tango show with Dinner at "Esquina Carlos Gardel" Departure from the hotel, to enjoy the best tango show and taste and excellent meal with beverages included. Overnight at selected Hotel.

DAY 03 - BUENOS AIRES/EL CALAFATE - Buffet breakfast at the Hotel. Departure to the local domestic airport to take a flight to El Calafate. Arrival at El Calafate Airport and Transfer to the hotel. Overnight at selected Hotel.

DAY 04 -  EL CALAFATE - Full Day Visit to the Perito Moreno Glacier. After traveling through a beautiful southern landscape, you arrive to Perito Moreno Glacier.This huge mass of ice covers an extension of 4 km over the waters of Lago Argentino and has permanent landslides. After lunch, return to El Calafate bordering Lago Rico. Overnight at selected Hotel.

DAY 05 -  BUENOS AIRES/USHUAIA - Transfer from the Hotel to the El Calafate Airport to take flight to Ushuaia. Arrival at the Southernmost City in the World and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at selected Hotel.

DAY 06 - MARE AUSTRALIS CRUISE BOARDING -  Half Day Visit to the National Park Lapataia. The entrance to Tierra del Fuego National Park is 12 km. from Ushuaia. It occupies a surface of 63.000 hectares where we can find a variety of fauna and flowers. Following a road around the mountains we will see the peat bogs and the beaver dams before arriving at Lapataia River.

Once we cross the river, we will have a nice view of Laguna Verde and the upland geese and ibis that come here every summer. In the afternoon, Transfer to the Pier to Embark the Mare Australis Cruise.Mare Australis is an Expedition cruise through the Strait of Magellan and the Beagle Channel, exploring one of the wildest and most beautiful regions of he world: Patagonia and Terra del Fuego, at the southernmost tip of the South American continent. Overnight on Board.

DAY 07 - MURRAY CHANNEL / CAPE HORN / WULAIA BAY - Navigation through the Beagle Channel and Murray Channel to disembark at the Cape Horn National Park. Cape Horn is a natural sea wall of almost 425 meters high that was discovered on January 30, 1616 by a commercial expedition from the Netherlands organized by Isaac Le Maire and under the command of Captain Willem Schouten. Later, we disembark in Walaia Bay, it was one of the most important indigenous sites of the region. Overnight on Board.

DAY 08 - BEAGLE CHANNEL / GARIBALDI GLACIER / MAGELLAN FOREST - We will sail Garibaldi Fjord where we will be able to enjoy views of the Glacier of the same name and the impressive snow fields of the Darwin Range. On the route along the bay the ship makes a short stop to admire the sea lions. We will take the opportunity to disembark in zodiacs at one of the beaches along this protected and wonderful place. There we will undertake an adventurous trek to appreciate the lush vegetation and the virgin forests that cover the mountain slopes. After, we will continue navigating through O'Brian and Ballenero Channels, Bahía Desolada, Paso Aguirre and Brecknock Channel.  Overnight on Board.

DAY 09 - MAGDALENA ISLAND / PUNTA ARENAS Early in the morning we will disembark in Magdalena Island, the home of an enormous penguin colony with over 120.000 of them in different stages of breeding. We will take a walk to San Isidro Lighthouse, which used to guide the explorer sailors on their way across the Magellans Strait. After our visit we will return to Punta Arenas. Transfer from the Port to the Airport to take flight to Santiago de Chile. Arrival at Airport and Transfer to the Hotel. Overnight at selected Hotel.

DAY 10 - SANTIAGO DE CHILE - Half day sightseeing tour of Santiago visiting the main avenues of the Civic neighborhood of the city. The sites of the Money Palace, the Government House. The Pre-Columbian Museum, the Armas Square, the Cathedral and the National Historic Museum. Also, pass through the Central Market Building.Visit to the Santa Lucia Hill, and from where there is excellent views of the city, San Francisco Church and National Library can be admired. Finally, visit of the Cousiño Palace, an elegant mansion of the XIX century that still conserves the furniture of the old dates. Afternoon at leisure to discover the city on your own. Overnight at selected Hotel.

DAY 11 - SANTIAGO DE CHILE -  Transfer Hotel / Airport to take flight back home
