31' Bertram Costa Rica Fishing Charter

This Costa Rica Charter Boat is a 31" foot Bertram with twin caterpillar engines, accommodates up to 4 Anglers.

Marlin Magazine recognized 31" Bertram as a ONE of the Top ten Boats for Costa Rica Sport fishing. Immaculately outfitted with a full line of Penn and Shimano equipment. The charter boat has a comfortable cabin, and space for four anglers, five in a pinch. She fishes out of Carillo to the south.

Captain Sonny Kocsis is one of the most popular and talented captains in the area, having fished the waters of Costa Rica's North Pacific coast for the past 10 years. His boat is virtually always in the top three in the many tournaments it enters.

This Costa Rica Sport Fisher has a courteous, experienced crew will make your day of fishing one to remember. The mates on board have been here for years. Many anglers, young and old, have caught their first fish aboard her. If you are not an avid fisherman, you are not alone. The Captain and crew will show you how to work our "state of the art tackle" and you will be coming home with dinner (or at least a GREAT story and hopefully some incredible picture to make the memory last a lifetime!

Rolando has been Captain for over 5 years and more than 10 being a 1st Mate, Oscar has 10 years as a Mate and 3 years on her. Both make a good team always ready to take you fishing! Sonny has trained his fellow Captains and Mates for many years to be quite capable of taking you on a awesome charter. We do groups no matter how big or how many boats you need. We do full day fishing providing the anglers all fishing gear/tackle, etc.

We fish out of Carrillo Bay from January until May. Rest of the Year out of Flamingo Bay. Both areas are located on the pacific coast (North Pacific) look for Playa Carrillo and Playa Flamingo, Our guests can fly in into Liberia and drive to us.
