The Equatorial Monument
Just 25 minutes outside of Quito, visit "La Mitad del Mundo" (Middle of the World), marked by geographers as latitude 0 00´ 00" and take advantage of the opportunity to stand on both hemispheres at the same time. Visit the Equatorial Museum featuring a cultural and geological display of Ecuator´s different climatic zones as well as the colonial model village. Post your letters marked from "Mitad del Mundo".
